Second grade was probably my favorite year of elementary school. I don’t really remember very much from those years but I do remember second grade standing out the most. My teachers name was Mrs. Kinder. Her room was split with a curtain down the middle with another teacher, Mrs. Mullins, who was another second grade teacher.

The two teachers had developed a system for controlling their students. Every desk had a little card on it that was green on one side and red on the other. If a kid did something wrong, such as not having their homework or just simply being a loud little shit, the teacher would flip their card to the red side. If a student were to keep their card on the green side all day, they would be rewarded with a shiny golden star sticker on their name, which was posted on some big board in the room.

At the end of the week the teachers would check the big shiny golden star sticker board, and everyone with four or five stars or something would go outside after lunch and eat popsicles for the rest of the day. It was the most kickass thing possible at the time. After that whole shindig was over everyone would go home and feel really awesome about themselves.

Then, I moved on to third grade. Mrs. Kinder also moved up to being a third grade teacher, and I had her again. The year was basically a duplicate of the prior year. Yeah that’s all.

Confidence is a strange thing. I don’t really feel comfortable posting things other than a topic of comedy in a public enviroment. I could write my personal thoughts about what happens when you die, meanings to life, or any of that other fun stuff. But most likely I end up not doing so because I have a feeling of some stranger peeking at what I’m writing and judging and all that. I guess I just care too much about what people think. Eh just weird I guess. I may post something else when I get home, something deep or whatever.

Theres also a chance I may slip into a coma when I get home. We’ll see.

This is the first blog that I have ever posted to my knowledge. At least the only one that I can remember. I never really got into blogging, because I’m not really a writer of any kind and just don’t have that much to share with people. More of a thinker. Buuuut, I’ll give this a run anyway and see how it goes. May even start using it on a semi-regular basis. Yeah that’s all.
